Full Name: Maci Gemini Smith
Nickname(s): Mace; Smith
Age: 16
Grade: Junior
Clique: Popular
Appearance (1-2 paragraphs): Maci has always been considered a beautiful girl – even those who don’t like her personality admit that she is extremely pretty. She likes to think of herself that way, which doesn’t help her cocky attitude much, but there you go. There’s something about Maci's appearance that ensures her beauty.
Maci inherited her light blonde hair from her father. It flows down her back in soft, natural waves, and reaches between her shoulders and elbows, and sweeping bangs cascade across her forehead. The style seems to change according to Maci's mood – straight, kept up, braids, etc. With the help of magic, however, she never has gotten split ends or broken strands from her constant experimentation.
One of the most unusual things about Maci’s appearance would probably be her eyes, which she gets from her mum. They’re not ugly, not in the least, but rather quite peculiar. They are a bright, chocolate brown, but often the tone of the colour changes according to Maci’s current emotion. The very rims of Maci’s eyes are extremely dark, almost black; the middle a very pretty chocolate brown with scattered, bright golden speckles; and towards the irises, a light, almost tan or orange brown the colour of fall leaves. However, Maci’s eyes move across the colour wheel according to her moods. When extremely angry, they turn scarlet with fury; when in a cold, unforgiving or impatient mood, jet black; and when in a happy or playful mood, hazel. Her eyes are her father’s, with a touch more passion and emotion in their stare – some claim that Maci could burn or bore a hole through anything with an angry glare. She rather likes her eyes, though not when they give off her emotions at the wrong times and places.
Her face is rather oval-shaped, and it spans down her neck, which is slim and just the right length to be called elegant. Maci’s face is just that of her father’s; the resemblance is uncanny. Maci’s features are small and delicate; however, her nose is aristocratic – a bit long, with nostrils that sometimes seem to turn up, giving her the appearance of being snobby (which, at times, she can be). The cherry red lips adorning her face are often poised in a playful smile or mocking smirk. Her chest isn’t huge, but she’s not exactly lacking in that area either. Maci is quite slim, thanks to the extremely fast Callahan metabolism – she could indulge on sweets, but still be perfectly thin the next day or so. Her legs are just a bit longer than average, and her arms are at a normal length. Maci, however, is quite short, and she stands at the sheer height of 5’3. Her small stance would give one the impression of a girl on the quiet size, but don’t be fooled, because Maci Smith is just about the furthest thing from quiet. She is also rather fit and muscular, in a compact way, thanks to years of volleyball and soccer practice.
With rather pale skin, Maci was given the nickname Snowman by her brother as a small child. An ivory colour of sorts, it is sprinkled lightly with freckles, mostly scattered about in the nose area. When in the sun, her skin does tan a bit, but not much, and more often burns slightly – just enough to sting, but not enough to bite terribly.
Maci is rather lucky in the appearance department, though even a rose has its thorns.
Clothing Style: Hollister, Abercrombie & Fitch - what you'd expect from a popular girl.
Interesting Clothing Facts: Every once in a while, Maci will make her own clothing - a dress, a skirt, a top. She doesn't often, but when she does, keeps it a secret. The girl likes to hear others' opinions without the handicap.
Personality (1-3 paragraphs): Maci is…well…Maci. Though a lot like her mother; there’s no better word for the girl other than her name, because she’s simply so hard to pinpoint. Maci Smith’s always herself, no matter who she’s with or where she’s at.
Firstly, she’s a total drama queen. Much like her mom, the girl tends to make a big deal of everything - from the biggest problems to the smallest. Her attitude is larger-than-life, and she loves it. Maybe Maci just wants attention? Well, she does love attention, and that could be a practical reason why she’s so over-the-top. The girl tends to make things bigger than they are; which can quite annoy some people.
Emotional and upset easily, Maci can cry at the drop of a hat. Even if you didn’t mean to insult her, she’ll take it to heart, and will tend to hold grudges against those that have wronged her. The girl cries a lot, simply because she’s mean to other people, who are mean back to her - and Maci Smith just can’t take her own medicine.
Speaking of mean, Maci can be a complete bitch when she feels like it. An uncanny ability of hers is to pick out the one thing about a person they hate the most about themselves - and use it against them; for her. She, though somewhat of a crybaby, can make you cry before you can say “I’m not ugly!” A natural-born insulter, many a friend has turned on Maci because she’s upset them so much.
Ah, another not-so-great thing about Maci Smith - the blonde’s an incurable gossiper. She can talk the rays off the sun, and won’t say the nicest things all the time, either. It’s as if everyone else has an abundance of faults to Maci, and she has none. With quite an ego, she thinks very highly of herself.
Oh - she’s as stubborn as hell, and has a temper like a firecracker, too. Also like Blaire Smith, Maci absolutely despises to change her mind, and does not do so often. Because she thinks she’s always right, is there a need to? As for her temper, watch out when Maci’s mad. She takes any playful insults seriously, and gets mad easily - and when Maci Smith gets mad, she REALLY gets mad. No stranger to screams and fights, she will punch your lights out if you aggravate her enough.
With such an ego, Maci loves to be the best. No one can top her; she’s the most amazing person in the world…at least, it seems so, considering the way she acts sometimes. Everyone else just isn’t as good as Maci; giving her the attitude to be sometimes stuck-up. She can’t help it that she’s cooler than you. So get over it, please!
Though not a genius, the girl is very smart. However, her partial brilliance isn’t exactly reflected in her grades at school - Maci just doesn’t seem to care enough to earn the A’s everyone knows she’s capable of. It’s not like education and diplomas will matter in the end, right? She’s going to be an actress, not a teacher!
Finally, the girl is simply hilarious. Get around her bratty tendencies and other faults, and you’ll find an extremely funny and outgoing girl. With many friends, despite her sometimes-mean behavior, Maci loves to make people laugh - and easily does so. She’s a natural-born comic, and loves to have fun.
All in all, Maci Smith is a complete original. Want to change her? Good luck, because you’ll never be able to.
History/Background (2-4 paragraphs): Blaire Callahan was an 8th grade student at Parker School in New York; Nolan Smith was a freshman. It was no secret that Blaire, a renown drama queen, was practically in love with Nolan. After all, who wouldn’t be? Though a huge dork and sometimes idiot, Nolan was the hottest freshman at Parker - and the star of the lacrosse team, besides. However, at first, he didn’t exactly return the feeling to the pretty but extremely over-the-top teenager.
Blaire went through the eight grade; trying to be noticed by Nolan. She was noticed, all right - she even made friends with some of Nolan’s friends. However, the girl had quite the reputation - as a drama queen and bitch. Though pretty, Nolan was warned to stay away from the feisty brunette, and he had no problem with this. Nolan just didn’t see her that way. Blaire embarrassed him in front of his friends, and just didn’t give up! Relentless, practically reckless flirting went on until the girl was a sophomore, the boy a junior. Finally, Nolan asked Blaire out on a date, just to get her off his back. But none of them would have expected what was to happen.
They actually had a good time! Away from school, Blaire seemed a bit calmer and less dramatic - only a bit, but it was a start. The couple’s dating went on until Nolan graduated. They agreed that spending time away from each other was probably a good thing, and maybe they would meet up after college. It wasn’t the greatest, but it was a plan, right?
Wrong. Without knowing, Blaire applied for the same college, and somehow was accepted as well. The first day she was at NYU, she and Nolan bumped into each other - literally - in the hallways. Maybe it was love, maybe it was destiny - but it was definitely fate of some sort. The young couple didn’t exactly know what to do, and in the end, continued dating. Some plan.
The Smiths were married on April 25, near the suburbs of Manhattan. The wedding was a joyous occasion, as it was close with Blaire’s graduation; which was only about a month away. However, it wasn’t long before the soon-to-be mother discovered that she was pregnant.
The pregnancy caused quite an issue with the new couple - Nolan was having thoughts of joining the military, and Blaire prominently refused. The daughter of a Navy Seal herself, she knew the pain associated with having a father you never saw, and didn’t want her child - or children - to be raised the same way she was. Finally, Nolan appeased his wife, and the two moved to San Diego, on the advice of Blaire’s longtime best friend, none other than Maddie Maxwell.
Robert Kevin was born on August 17, and was followed about two years later by the couple’s first daughter - Maci Gemini.
Maci immediately became her mother’s favorite. A right clone of Blaire, the new blonde was a lover of attention, even at an early age - and she had no objections to being in her mother’s spotlight. Nolan, however, was getting restless. His job as principal and lacrosse coach at a local private high school was starting to get old and boring. Yes, it brought in enough money to support his family - but Nolan wanted to be in the military.
The next child born was another girl, Miley Genevieve. Miley was born two years after her older sister, Maci. But right after the girl's birth, the Smith household began to get uneasy.
Fights started ensuing in the Smith household. Things were thrown, and Maci cried every time the yelling started - but nothing help. Blaire didn’t want Maci, Robbie and Miley growing up the way she had. Nolan just didn’t get it! A weeping mother, lying in bed, finally gave up. She told Nolan that she didn’t care where he went or what he did. She loved him, but right now, she needed alone time with her children. And with that, Nolan packed up and joined the local branch of the Navy.
Maci grew up basically being raised by a single mother. Though she and Blaire were extremely close, from her birth until the present, she missed having a father. Nolan hardly ever came home to see his kids - promotions kept being given to him, and he was sent all over the world.
But threats were starting to overcome the Smith household, and this time, not from the parents. Blaire received many nasty emails and letters because of Nolan’s high position for the US Military. Maci and Robbie had lived a normal childhood (except for the absence of their father), going to the local middle school. But this time, Blaire was at her wit’s end. She sent Robbie to the local public high school, for his freshman year. A miserable Maci was left at home, nearly friendless - her father’s absence had caused her to become so mean and moody that all of her friends were sick of her. She felt alone, because even though she had her mother and younger sister, all girls need friends.
Now, Maci’s been at San Diego High for a few years. And she has quite a reputation for her dramatic attitude. Who knows what’s in store for miss Maci Smith?

A petite, slim figure stood in the armor gallery. Kacey Finnigan, known to most as Kacey or Bipolar Blondie, sighed, a bored look on her pretty face. She rolled her warm brown eyes. Today, there was simply nothing to do! She'd already practiced quidditch, and for once, was dead tired of it. Exhausted, in fact. Yes, it was true - even Kacey Finnigan could get tired of quidditch once in a while.
As for singing, she'd sang herself hoarse earlier. Belting out a tune at the top of her lungs because she was bored had hurt her throat, acorn at least it had given her something to do. That was typical Kacey for you - hurting herself pointlessly, because she had nothing better to do.
She could always study...wait, had she just thought that!? The Finnigan Slacker? Wow, better get that idea out of her head quickly, or she'd turn into another study-obsessed recluse. As much as Kacey loved school and was obsessed herself with earning the best marks possible (in the classes that mattered, at least), she despised studying. How like her father.
Maybe she should go write a letter to her parents. It might be nice to tell them how different Hogwarts was from when they were there; and besides, they expected weekly reports of her behavior anyway. Kacey was always getting into trouble for random things; due to her lack of caring and disregard of rules. But to her, a boring life just wasn’t worth living.
Walking along the Armor Gallery, Kacey continued her boredom and thought. She knew she wasn't helping it, but what could she do? There weren't any good pranks to play, and her friends were off doing who knew what. She'd done everything else there was to do, and so walking in the Armor Gallery seemed the only option left. And who knew where her brothers were? Probably banging each other on the heads with swords, or something equally random and stupid.
Kacey accidentally knocked into one of the suits of armor while not paying attention to where she was going. A loud clank emitted from the suit, to her annoyance. Great, now she'd have to fix it. Groaning, she sighed yet again. Picking up the shiny silver suit, she glared at the small, angry noises it was making. It was enchanted; to be like a real soldier. Sometimes Kacey just didn't get the point of magic like that. Stupid armor...
